ˇ@ˇ@In the beautiful Petlaman Mountains lives a group of contented Atayal people. They use their bare hands to cultivate the land and hunt for food, feel the pulse and listen to the breathing of the mountainous terrain with their eyes, ears and soul.

ˇ@ˇ@The time is somewhere between 1940 and 1950, our little lead character, Tintin, is an intelligent, vigorous and curious Atayalic boy. He meets a teacher who comes to this mountainous region from the lowland to carry out his teaching duties. See how Tintin, with his head full of questions, gets all his answers from Teacher Chang, who is armed with a head full of scientific knowledge; see how Tintin engages in a war of words with his lovely and smartly eccentric little sister Lawa; and see how Tintin gets into trouble with his misbehaving good friend Tola, and how they learn their lessons and grow with each experience. Also, find out whether Tintin has a secret crush on the beautiful Atayal girl Wagi.

ˇ@ˇ@Hunting for wild boars in the mountains, catching fish in the stream, capturing bats at night, building a cottage as a private hunting base, fishing for toads while holding a lantern, manually creating a bamboo gun and a hong hongˇKˇKWow! There are still many of secrets buried within the mountains waiting for you to discover them, open your heart and follow Tintin into the Petlaman Mountains, experience the lively and fascinating life of the Atayal.

ˇ@ˇ@This animated series contains a total of 10 episodes; each of them presenting a scientific concept through the perspective of the aboriginal cultural background. In addition to expressing scientific theories, each episode also fully illustrates the traditional wisdom presents in the aboriginal scientific approach. Watching this program is like killing two birds with one stone, you learn about science and at the same time get in touch with the colorful aboriginal culture.
